Samus Gets Skimpy New Smash Bros. Outfit

Posted on Tuesday, August 19 @ 10:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai has just lifted the veil on a new costume for Nintendo's iconic bounty hunter.

Take a look at Zero Suit Samus as she bears a bit more skin than usual in this screenshot of the upcoming Wii U version of Super Smash Bros.

And here she is on 3DS.

According to Mr. Sakurai:
Looking at the number of days we have left for development, it would be an impossible task to create this... That's what I told my staff. But thanks to the determination of her female designer, these Zero Suit outfits got completed in time. From the ending of Metroid: Zero Mission, here's Samus in shorts!
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will be launching later this year. Meanwhile, that holiday release window for the Wii U version is still a bit vague.
