LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

Save $20 On StarCraft II And Diablo III

Posted on Wednesday, November 21 @ 14:07:59 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

Why buy only Diablo III when you can get Diablo III and StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty for the same price? No, that isn't a trick question.

The Blizzard Store currently has Diablo III and StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty available for $20 off. To make the deal even more fun, you get the difficult choice between either a physical copy to further clutter your room or a digital download. Either way you get a code that'll let you download the game from your PC, but the physical copy doesn't include free shipping.

Diablo III has received some beefy patches while StarCraft II is gearing up for its first expansion early next year, so there's never been a better time to get caught up on Blizzard's offerings.

    Hmm what to buy...

The first one which has completely destroyed any online community for custom map-making, is going to have a new version of the same **** coming out next year, and one after that.

    Or

The second one which is completely run by an auction house and has tons of mundane, useless skills and has become so **** balanced that the only useful class in the shitty end game is a barbarian.

    Decisions, decisions.

"Blizzard games rarely go on sale"
Except with that promotional 5 dollars for the whole world of warcraft set 3 months back... and the make-a-wish foundation charity sales... and the hurricane relief sales. That's just in the last semester.

Every time a person contrasts a physical disk with a "digital" version, my brain cries out in pain. DVDs (and CDs) are digital! DVD even stands for "digital versatile disk".

Not trying to demean you, Jonathan, your usage is technically correct, if potentially misleading in implication. But the idea of "digital" being synonymous with "non-physical" is as annoying as it is commonplace, so I like posting about it whenever I see the possibility of confusion.

Also, this is the deal I was looking for on Starcraft II. Thank you for posting, since I rarely check the Blizzard Store.

I would pay $40 for an analogue version of Diablo III. I can't imagine what shipping would cost to get the whole physical game-world to my house or where I would keep the demons when I'm not playing, but it would be great exercise to play.

Don't listen to the haters, Diablo is a good game. The endgame content isn't quite there but you'll have gotten your money's worth before then anyway.
