SCEA Software Engineer Allegedly Working On “Voice Chat Library For PlayStation 4”

Posted on Wednesday, May 16 @ 11:10:48 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Sheesh. When will people learn that LinkedIn is not the best place to list unannounced stuff that you're currently working on? In yet another resume-related story, Frederick Umminger, a software engineer at SCEA noted in his resume that he is currently working on a “voice chat library for PlayStation 4.”

While it's certainly a possibility that this is simply a typo, we wouldn't be surprised if it truly is an accidental leak. Sony hasn't officially announced anything regarding a new console, but the PlayStation 4 - allegedly codenamed 'Orbis' - has been rumored for quite some time now.

Be sure to stay tuned to Game Revolution for future updates on Sony's heavily rumored next-gen console.
