SCEJ President Confesses He Hasn't Seen Final Design Of PS4

Posted on Friday, February 22 @ 10:29:11 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Many were disappointed when PlayStation Meeting 2013 ended and the actual design of the PlayStation 4 was nowhere to be seen. The company is almost certainly saving that reveal for E3, but you may be surprised to hear that even some of the big wigs at Sony still don't know what the final version will look like either.

In fact, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan president Hiroshi Kawano doesn't know what the PS4 looks like. In an interview with 4Gamer, he said, “If I’m being honest, I also haven’t seen its final design. Even the controller we showed today, I saw the final design around yesterday or so.”

However, it is safe to assume Kawano has probably seen a bunch early working designs, so there's a good chance he's got a general idea of what it will look like when the device is properly unveiled. Here's to hoping we get a look at the final design sooner rather than later.

There is one thing I realized if the console was made with developers , then the developers probably designed the controller. I don't like how it looks but I am starting to think it might be a huge hit when it comes out.

What Tiny said! Who cares what it looks like. We all know the specs now and seen the power. Seeing the physical version of this console wont make your games more/less amazing. As long as it does what Sony said it will do and has amazing games that people want to play...it could look like a giant waffle and people will still buy it.
