Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Online Multiplayer DLC Arriving In Fall

Posted on Monday, August 20 @ 16:23:59 Eastern by

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World released on August 10, 2010... talk about an encore.

Only now, two years later, will this pixelated beat-'em-up receive the boon known as online multiplayer. Costing $5 on PSN or 400 MSP on Xbox Live, this pack also includes Wallace Wells as a playable character, the owner of the mystery shop in the game.

This new DLC was meant to be released yesterday, surprising as that might be, but it has been delayed to the fall according to an Ubisoft rep who spoke with Joystiq. I just hope this doesn't get any more lost in the shuffle than it already is, now that it's embedded in the holiday season.

$5 DLC for a two year old game that had barely any post-launch support and is only really fun when played in local co-op?

    Hmm.

Geez this is weird. Getting DLC 2 years later, and having online mutiplayer which i bet no one will care about anymore. Wallace Wells as a character seems weird to. Oh well, i will probably still get it. This DLC just seems a bit late, and no one will probably care anymore.

I'm going to replay with my roommate but I don't care about online multiplayer. I figured there would be new levels or something. Oh well.
