See Kingdom Hearts' Crystal Clear HD Intro Right Here

Posted on Monday, March 18 @ 09:30:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

The original Kingdom Hearts holds a very special place in my heart. While hardly the best game on the PlayStation 2 from a gameplay standpoint, its charming characters and unique blend of Square and Disney fiction make it one of my absolute favorites on the platform.

Thankfully it's getting a proper translation into high-def, and judging by the gameplay footage we've seen thus far along with the game's stunning CG opening above (courtesy of All Games Beta), Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix could very well be the most impressive HD port we've seen.

What do you think of the iconic opening? Are you psyched for the game's release later this year? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments below.

Thankfully Kingdom Hearts art style provides for a simple and clean high definition upgrade. Can't wait to mickey this on home, play it in my sanctuary and get goofy.

You know which games I would pay full price for an HD collection remake of? The Jade Cocoon games. I'd lay down $60 without a second thought. If more people felt the same way, they might at least make their way to the Playstation store. Oh well

It's so pretty. I wonder if KH1 will be the Final Mix version for NA. If it is, I'll get this on day one.
