Sega Teases Shemue And Skies of Arcadia For PSN And XBLA

In a video interview with Game Reactor at GDC 2012, Sega's Associate Brand Manager Ben Harborne teased the idea that the company will be bringing Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia, just like it will with an HD version of Jet Grind Radio to be released some time this Summer:
We've got a lot of other exciting stuff coming on, down the pipelines before then... I can tell you definitely, it's gonna be Shenmue... and Skies of Arcadia as well. So those are a couple of our most requested games. I can't say yes or no, but we may be working on them.
I would most certainly appreciate all three of those titles coming to XBLA and PSN. Skies of Arcadia remains one of the last RPGs I haven't played but should and would like to see it upgraded in full HD for my viewing pleasure.

    I've always wanted to play Shenmue. I'd definitely buy it. DO YOU HEAR ME SEGA? I'D BUY IT!

    I'm in the same boat with Skies of Arcadia, always wanted to play it, never had the equipment. Shaping up to be a retro summer.

    With (almost?) 100 reviews written, dating back to 2003, I've given out only two 10/10's. Skies of Arcadia and Valkyria Chronicles. If you like Japanese RPGs, play that game.

    Oh sweet Lord let this be true. I love Shenmue. It popped my RPG cherry. I've been lusting after detailed, open-world games ever since.

    Have you played the Yakuza series? If not, and you liked Shenmue, get Yakuza 3 and 4 immediately.
