Shadowgate Arrives on Steam Today

Posted on Thursday, August 21 @ 10:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Shadowgate, a re-imagined version of the classic point-and-click adventure game from years past, is available today for Mac and PC owners on Steam.

"This is the ultimate version of Shadowgate that we’ve been envisioning for nearly 30 years!" Zojoi design director Karl Roelofs said. "The game features tons of new puzzles to solve, a hugely expanded Castle Shadowgate, and gorgeous hand-painted graphics.

"There are plenty of nods to the original version," Roelofs added, "like the NES-inspired orchestral tracks and pixelated transitions, so fans of the MacVenture and NES versions will instantly recognize this as the ultimate successor to the classic. This is a huge moment for the team!”

If you'd like to grab Shadowgate today, head over to Steam and get it for the discounted launch day price of $18.00. You can also check out our review of the game right here.
