Skyrim vs. Oblivion

With journalists able to publish their created characters from QuakeCon, inventive gamers have given us our first Skyrim/Oblivion comparison shots. Easily the biggest improvement is in the Argonian race. If you're like me, you've never played and... had to look up the name of the race... by searching for... "dinosaur people".

*shame face*

Morrowind's race models are included for good measure.

    You never play as an Argonian? But they are the best race in the whole game, hands down no argument the very best!

    I sank 350+ hours into Oblivion. So I'm pretty excited for Skyrim.

    It does look better, but I don't think they were using hi-def on the Oblivion screens.

    Nehrim - At Fates Edge put Oblivion to shame. Marrowind was the only game Bethesda managed to do so well that it didn't warrant mods to fix. Oblivion was inferior in almost every way to Marrowind. Seriously, every character in Nehrim is voiced by someone else. A freakin' German mod group can do better than Bethesda.
