Skyrim: What Will You Look Like?

With so many fan-made preliminary image compilations of the races in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda via its official blog has decided to trump them all with compilations of twenty diverse headshots for each race. To say that they are an improvement over the modeling in Oblivion, and Fallout: New Vegas as well, is an understatement.

The order of the images below are alphabetical: argonians, bretons, dark elves, high elves, imperials, khajits, nords, orcs, redguards, and wood elves. I will likely play as one of the plain human races before taking on the awesomely different argonians and khajits. How about you?

    I prefer Breton, and since that race doesn't stand out I'm still in the dark.

    Bertons are just after the Argonians. I think they look tougher, way tougher, than Oblivion.

    The Argonians look badass enough that I'll finally feel good about making an Argonian who specializes in restorative magic called Raptor Jesus.

    The Orcs don't look orcish enough to me. I'm extremely impressed with everything else, though. Especially the Dunmer...whoa.
