Sledgehammer Call of Duty Reveal Coming Next Week [Update: Jaw-Dropping Screenshot, Teaser Video]

[Update 2]Activision has released a video titled "Superpower for Hire," in an effort to build up excitement for May 4th's bigCall of Dutyreveal. Accompanying the video is the following description:
In the last 20 years, global combat has seen asteadyshift towards the use of private military corporations, or PMCs. What happens when the highest bidder becomes the world's next superpower?

A new era arrives forCall of Duty. See the world reveal on 5.4.14.


In addition, the company released the following infographic, clearly hinting at the theme of Sledgehammer's upcoming game.

[Update 1]Sledgehammer's upcoming Call of Dutytitle has been revealed to be the cover story of the latest issue ofGame Informer. As a tease, the outlet posted the following screenshot, which looks incredibly impressive.



The image is labeled "Blacksmith" leading to speculation that this new title could very well be calledCall of Duty: Blacksmith.

In addition, GI's Andy McNamara let slip onTwitterthat the May 4th reveal will include a trailer for the game, though,I'm sure you all were expecting that anyway.
