LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Sony Hacker Flees to South America

Posted on Wednesday, March 23 @ 13:01:00 Eastern by

In a civil suit by Sony against hacker George Hotz (aka "GeoHot"), Sony has discovered that the homebrew hacker has run away to South America to escape jurisdiction in California. In an official document filed by Sony:

Hotz has engaged in a campaign to thwart jurisdictional discovery at every turn - regardless of whether the Court has ordered such discover or not... SCEA learned that Hotz had deliberately remove integral components of his impounded hard drives prior to delivering them to a third-party neutral that Hotz is not in South America.

Sony also claims that Hotz lied about not having a PSN account, which if he did, means that he's subject to the PSN User Agreement. They say that he created an account under "blinkmaniac" that is tied to his address, but they will likely need to prove that George Hotz is the one who created the account and not someone else.

Now, Hotz is reportedly not a pirate of any sort; he is a homebrew hacker. Indeed, his claim to fame was hacking cellular phones. Whether or not he actually broke a law is up for grabs, but that he may have lied in court under oath is less so.

What I really think is Sony must find this guy and teach him a lesson or two , but in my case if by any chance I see this guy I will beat him to death , and just like any other PS3 gamer , online gamer to be exact , he really ruined us badly , I really want to play online again , please Sony please I really hope you read my message , do your best in making the PSN unpenetrable (sorry misspelled) so people like that would never enter your system ever again .
and Sony please do post an exact date on when will PSN will be back online PLEASE .

For a start it's Sonys own fault! What on earth was they thinking releasing such a weak ass product? You need to take a chill pill and get over the fact someone else is smarter than you...
So what someone hacked Sony... not the 1st time is it! Sony should get of there wealthy multi-million pound asses and hire this guy to fix the hole he got through, goverments hire "ex-hackers" but your not screaming about that.

You really are a blind moron who can only see what has been spelt out in the media, learn to think for yourself and you may actually find you have some admiration for a guy who can do what he sets his mind to, unlike yourself.
