Sony Readying Syphon Filter 4, God of War IV For February Reveal?

Posted on Monday, January 23 @ 08:56:19 Eastern by

Europe's PLAY magazine suggests in the latest issue's '10 Games That Will Be Announced This Year' feature, that Syphon Filter 4 and God of War IV are due to be announced in February.

The magazine futher suggests that Syphon Filter 4 will again feature Gabe Logan as the game's protagonist, and will release during 2012.

They're less specific about God of War IV, instead dancing around the idea that they know something solid, and point at recent job listings mentioning multiplayer modes for reference.

February is only days away at this point, could there be an announcement for each game right around the corner?

Feb would be a really random time to announce a game... unless it was Vita related.

I only played the first Syphon Filter but I feel like sony never gave it the attention it should have gotten. And It is time for a different mythology for god of war.

Syphon Filter had two sequels on the PS1 alone.

Hell yeah another SF! The two PSP games were probably the best shooters on the system, but I hope, if SF4 is for PS3, it doesn't take the horrid route of Omega Strain.

Syphon Filter was my favorite Sony Franchise back in the day. And what the Hell God of War Multiplayer? Why?
