Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

Sony Releases Starhawk Launch Trailer

Posted on Sunday, May 6 @ 10:36:09 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack
It's been almost five years since Warhawk came out for the PlayStation 3, and since then we've seen more generic shooters than a mathematician can count. But now Starhawk is only two-days away from release, and Sony have released the official launch trailer to get people excited for launch.

I saw jetpacks, mechs, an orbital strike, and plenty of explosions. That's exactly what I look for in a game, and you can't deny that the real-time strategy qualities add some flavor. Truthfully, there aren't any big name shooters releasing until later in the year, so Starhawk is a good pick-up for you competitive types to get through the next few months of 2012.

I played in the beta, it's some of the most fun I've had in a shooter in a long time. I'll be picking it up for sure.
