Sony Santa Monica Teasing God of War Appearance Tonight

It looks like Kratos may very well be making an appearance tonight at Sony's PlayStation Meeting. 

Sony Santa Monica, the studio behind the God of War franchise, teased Sony fans on Twitter with the following post:


Seeing as how God of War: Ascension is now incredibly close to release, it's safe to assume that this Kratos-centric prequel will be at the show in some form. Of course, there's always that slight shred of hope that it may be God of War IV for the PlayStation 4, but I wouldn't get my hopes up on that one.

    Why would they announce a God of War game before they release their game for PS3? I suspect announcement of multiplayer content.

    Sony needs to pull out the big guns with this new console. The PS3 didn't do so hot when it first arrived and it didn't do so well years later. They need GOOD game for launch. W/o any good games on launch, there is no way I'm going to buy any of these new gen consoles when they first arrive.

    I hear you. Buying new hardware is a HUGE investment, and one that is not easy to swing when there aren't many must-have games.
