Sony "Waiting... To Reintroduce" The Last Guardian

Despite the fact that yet another Tokyo Game Show has come and gone without the appearance ofThe Last Guardian, Sony insists that the project from Fumito Ueda has not been canned.

When asked byGame Informerabout the status of the long-awaited, chronically-delayed game, Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida responded: "The team is still there in SCE Japan Studio, Ueda-san is still there, but we are still waiting for the time to reintroduce it."

So there you have it. It looks like we'll have to remain in the dark for a little bit longer. Hopefully a year from now I won't be writing a similar story in the event that Sony still has nothing new to say aboutThe Last Guardianat Tokyo Game Show 2014, though, I wouldn't rule it out.
