SoulCalibur V Retains Breast Size Augmentation

Posted on Thursday, January 5 @ 13:05:49 Eastern by

Falling in line with character creation fantasies, as similarly and recently provided through WWE 12 and Saints Row: The Third, SoulCalibur V will include the ability to, err, adjust the size of female breasts in character creation.

Now, it's not like I had hands-on time... umm, that came out wrong... but I know this from an unexpected (and simultaneously obvious) source: our friends at the ESRB. Here is their description of the 'T'-rated SoulCalibur V
This is a fighting game in which players engage in one-on-one combat against a large cast of human and supernatural characters. Players use guns, swords, spears, and other melee weapons to strike opponents and drain their health meters. The frenetic battles are highlighted by slashing sounds, impact effects, and frequent cries of pain. Cutscenes depict additional acts of violence, such as characters getting impaled with swords. Some female fighters wear outfits that reveal large amounts of jiggling cleavage and portions of their buttocks; on the character creation menu, players can augment fighters' breast sizes and manipulate the camera to zoom in on their bodies. The words “damn,” “b*tch,” and “bastard” can be heard in the dialogue.
Two things: How many times did the ESRB tester zoom in their bodies? And "Damn, you bastards, those breasts be bitchin'!"

Okay, okay, we're not sure whether this means players can adjust "jiggling cleavage" by controlling the Physique of a female created character, as could be done in SoulCalibur IV, but whatever the means, it can done once more when it releases January 31st.

Frankly, I enjoy total customization over anything I create, and that means, yeah, I like having control over that aspect too. It just means I can do things the way I want to.

I don't see anything perverted about it... I'm not sure how this qualifies as news anyway, not blaming GR, they're just re-posting it. I'm just not sure why the source had to mention this specifically.

The source is the ESRB. It's kinda their job to write descriptions like that to warn parents of the content in the game. And in this case, the word of caution is: Careful. Boobs ahead.

Can we also adjust the coefficient of restitution (also called "bounce") of said breasts?

    Gentlemen: A serious question.

How many of you will attempt to create a female character with the boob slider to minimum?

I'd fail in around 5 seconds. You?

That should be in the games commercial, that quote like how film critics reviews are used during a movie trailer. Just take the words a little out of context like politicians do and voila.

"ESRB says ...frequent cries of pain... additional acts of violence... large amounts of jiggling cleavage... damn... *****."

This commercial writes itself after that.

Well considering that it was mentioned that DoA5 will take out the jiggle physics, this will maintain balance to the world, and a slight imbalance to my pants while playing.

It's like the old saying: God never shuts a door without opening another door to large amounts of jiggling cleavage.
