![]() Did you see that Final Fantasy VII was available for purchase last weekend? Did you buy it and then found out you couldn't play it? Square Enix is awfully sorry about that. Square Enix accidentally launched the new PC remake of Final Fantasy VII before the game itself was live. As a result, everyone who bought it couldn't play it. As an apology to everyone who was inconvenienced by their mistake, Square Enix will refund everyone who bought it early and hand out free copies of the original FFVII on PC. The following is the official statement the company sent over to Kotaku.
