Square Enix Teases Final Fantasy XIII-3 And Announces Final Fantasy X HD Delay

Posted on Thursday, July 5 @ 08:27:59 Eastern by Keri_Honea

One thing I'll say for Square Enix people...they really, really like to tease people. Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 director Motomu Toriyama told Famitsu that they will announce "something" in regards to the Final Fantasy XIII universe. Considering that Square Enix already announced their final DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2, so this tease either makes them liars or it's a confirmation of Final Fantasy XIII-3.

In other disappointing Square Enix news, Toriyama also confirmed that the HD remake for Final Fantasy X—the one that made many, many people excited for the Vita—is a long way off.

"Regarding HD conversions, there is a lot to look into, so please wait a bit more," he said.

The only announcement that could have made this all more depressing would be an official confirmation that Kingdom Hearts will never return to the consoles.
