The only thing that stops the dust is the rain. It’s a sweet reprieve, but there is no middle ground. The land is either as dry as the Betty Ford clinic, or as wet as the ocean floor. Everything can be seen from the ridge overlooking Armadillo as John Marston gently bounces along atop...

Sterling Archer Becomes Playable Character For Rock Band 4's Kenny Loggins DLC

Posted on Wednesday, March 15 @ 09:45:36 PST by James_Kozanitis

Usually announcements that come along with the phrase "you didn't see this coming," are somewhat disingenuous, but that wasn't the case this morning when Harmonix announced that Rock Band 4's next DLC would include Sterling Archer as a playable character. Sterling Archer, of course, is the main character on FXX's beloved animated spy farce Archer.

As part of its March content update, Archer felt like a natural addition because Rock Band 4 would also now be including Kenny Loggins' hit song "Danger Zone," Rock Band Project Manager Daniel Sussman said, in the announcement.

"We reached out to the good folks at FXX and Floyd County Productions to see if they’d like to do something special for Rock Band and Archer fans and they jumped at the chance," writes Sussman. "An Archer cameo in Rock Band was happening."

The update will go live tomorrow, March 16 and will also include new outfits and Mass Effect content. This will coincide with next month's release of Archer season 8, which will take on a noir setting when it premieres on April 5.
