Street Fighter X Mega Man Announced, Exclusive To PC

Posted on Tuesday, December 11 @ 12:42:44 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

Will it blend?

A small indie studio, supported by Capcom, has unveiled Street Fighter X Mega Man through a YouTube video. It's designed around the 8-bit landscape of Mega Man's roots and stars everyone's favorite blue-armor protagonist in classic fashion, However, the game is infused with Street Fighter qualities including characters such as Chun-Li and Ryu as well as familiar battle arenas. It has a light narrative and eight abilties that are new to the Mega Man series to keep the game fresh.

The best news is the game will be downloadable for free. The only catch is that it's exclusive to PC. But everyone, has a PC, right? You won't need a monster rig to run this bad boy, so nobody is left out.

See below for the trailer.

I'm really hoping there's a Mac incarnation, I'm too broke to pay for Parallels and such. And honesty is what I hope to be known for... a +1 to you for that. :-)

Make yourself a hackintosh. All the advantages, none of the stupidly high price.

If I'd done enough research I would have with the Dell netbook from a few years back, but as it stands my Macbook is my primary - and only - personal computer of the moment. And I has no more money to buy and/or hack anything. :-(

Fair enough. Just for the record, though, the expense of a hackintosh is getting the decent Intel-based PC. The hacks to install Mac OS are free.
