Sucker Punch Showcases A Rainy Seattle In New inFamous: Second Son Trailer

Posted on Monday, January 27 @ 09:29:48 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

A new developer video for inFamous: Second Son has been released by the folks over at Sucker Punch Productions, highlighting the game's jaw-dropping open world, and wow is it stunning. Give it a look above.

In case you didn't already know, the game is set in Seattle, which has been faithfully recreated in startlingly accurate detail. Exploration has been a huge part of the prior inFamous games, and Second Son is clearly no exception.

"Our goal was to create an urban playground for the player as they experience Delsin’s amazing superhuman powers," art director Horia Dociu explained on the PlayStation Blog, "so it was paramount that we capture the essence of the city. We wanted to give the player the feeling of walking down an alleyway and seeing the rain accumulate between the cobblestones, and the reflections of the rain-streaked, brick buildings and neon market signs."

inFamous: Second Son launches on March 21st, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
