Surprise! Duke Nukem Forever Delayed

We know Duke, and we know the long history of Duke Nukem Forever. So we've always been skeptical about the May 3rd release date announced earlier this year. But after spending some quality time with Duke at an exclusive preview event, at GDC and again at PAX East, we have to admit, we thought we were in the clear.

But just when we start falling deep in love with the King again, he takes our heart and uses it to put out his cigar. Duke Nukem Forever has been delayed. Though, this time, it's not going to be forever until we get our hands on the final retail game. Instead of releasing on the previously set date of May 3rd, the game will now be releasing one month later on June 14th.

To soften the blow to fans awaiting the game, Gearbox Software has put out a hilarious video with CEO Randy Pitchford, who doesn't take the news of this delay so lightly. Check it out:

    Whatever, all the enemies are just bullet sponges like every other shooter. RINSE, WASH,REPEAT.
