Survive a Plane Crash, Snipe Makarov, and Reunite with Price: Details from Modern Warfare 3's Latest Trailer

Posted on Friday, October 7 @ 13:33:31 Eastern by
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's campaign appears to be cranking everything to 11 and the latest "Redemption" Trailer has confirmed several key details.

The first of course is the return of everybody's favorite captain!

Captain Price has officially been revealed. He'll no doubt play a massive role in the Modern Warfare finale. Of course, we'll have to wait and see if he can finally rid the world of his nemesis:

Makarov. Putting the Russian terrorist in the players scope will inevitably recall Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's fantastic sniper mission in Chernobyl. Will we get a chance to pull the trigger under duress in Modern Warfare 3?

No, this doesn't look like a Inception-inspired Call of Duty dream level! It appears you'll be boarding and attacking enemies on a near-space plane.

Will we be able to fight in zero-gravity or is this part of a cutscene? We can hope we'll be given the reigns long enough to kill what's floating around in front of us. Don't forget though, all things must come to an end...

... and all planes must land sometime. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's campaign will take you to great heights, but will Price, SOAP and the whole world come crashing down as well? Keep it locked on GameRevolution for more details in the lead up to Modern Warfare 3's release.

Here's the trailer in its entirety:

What does Battlefield 3's campaign look like to you? Toy Story?

So I went from absolutely wanting MW3 over BF3, then BF3 started to look very good (mostly jets), now, the more and more I found out about BF3 the less and less I want it, plus the beta didn't impress me at all
(mostly lack-of jets), now I'm back to MW3, and it's impressing me more and more. BF3 can take its "6-7 hour long" campaign and shove it up its ass. Though I'll still be buying BF3 for Christmas, because it could probably be some fun. (mostly jets)
