Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

SWTOR Producer Leaves BioWare Austin

Posted on Tuesday, July 17 @ 12:57:13 Eastern by Keri_Honea

Star Wars: The Old Republic and BioWare Austin cannot seem to catch a break. Gamasutra reported this morning that Rich Vogel, the MMORPG's executive producer has left the studio. He was with BioWare Austin for seven years.

If that wasn't a low enough blow for both the game and the company, several BioWare Austin employees were laid off not long after Vogel's departure.

As amazing as the game looks, it continues to drop subscribers each month. BioWare has made the game free-to-play up to level 15, but it thus far has not prodded along any significant subscription increases.

To borrow a quote from Twitter, SWTOR is sadly becoming a cautionary tale in MMO development.

Makes me sad the first two worlds made the game the game seem promising but it turned bitter only a week in when i finished my Jedi Sentinel and there was barely anything to do or anyone to do it with.

p.s. they completely suckered people on the in game CE vendor.

This makes me sad. I'm still enjoying the game a lot and hate to see it losing resources. Though maybe these people were holding the game back from what it could be? Just hope for a good stream of content and balance updates. Looking forward to HK51 in 1.4. Especially since the rumor is that he is incredibly hard to get.

Port it to consoles FTP !!!! With subscription based XBOX coming and PS network already free, I think there is some serious micro transaction potential. Just XBL alone would reach a massive install base.

SWTOR is the cautionary tale? What about the many other failed MMO's in the last decade, were those not cautionary enough? I know it wasn't your quote but this rustles my jimmies. I knew this was a flop from the beginning. Still waiting for KOTOR3

Cautionary on thinking a popular licensed name and a huge monetary backing would equal success maybe.

I just bought (once again) KOTOR on steam for like $3... and would gladly pay $60+ for a TRUE KOTOR3.
