Syndicate Announcement Trailer Says Screw Corporate!

Above you'll find Syndicate's announcement trailer which takes the time to confirm that the game will be available in February of next year. It looks pretty far along and there's a ton of details to mull over, but ultimately, the debate over this game will come down to older gamers who prefer the original Syndicate and younger gamers who love shooting stuff in the first person.

I'll be honest and say that I've yet to play the original Syndicate so the lack of an isometric view and tactical gameplay doesn't offend me all that much, but let us know what you think about the Syndicate reboot in the comments.

    New wave gamers don't have the the attention spans for the old games. Nobody has the time to think about the game they're playing anymore, its all about this cerebral masturbation nowadays.

    Well the music is cool, a remix of one of my favorite video game song. And i guess i like the fact that it's not a... "brown shooter" but a "nylonlights shooter". And it actually does kinda have the old game's atmosphere (mixture of dark and bright lighting effect) and the good old gun like the Gauss gun and the flamethrower...
    My god is this the third stage of grief? I feel like the giraffe in robot chicken.

    I think it captures the Cyberpunk feel of the original very nicely. And with it being first person, maybe, just maybe, it will get us closer to the game that Shadowrun for 360 was supposed to be, before they turned it into a deathmatchfest with no story.
