Tecmo Koei-Developed Zelda Game For Wii U Announced

During today's Nintendo Direct, president Satoru Iwata revealed a brand-newZeldagame for Wii U. It's tentatively titled Hyrule Warriorsand is being developed by the folks at Tecmo Koei.

As you may have suspected, this game combines the gameplay ofDynasty Warriorswith the universe ofZelda. Iwata was careful to point out that this isnotthe traditionalThe Legend of Zeldagame everyone is still eagerly anticipating. That is still coming... someday.
