Tecmo Koei-Developed Zelda Game For Wii U Announced

Posted on Wednesday, December 18 @ 06:15:36 PST by Alex_Osborn

During today's Nintendo Direct, president Satoru Iwata revealed a brand-new Zelda game for Wii U. It's tentatively titled Hyrule Warriors and is being developed by the folks at Tecmo Koei.

As you may have suspected, this game combines the gameplay of Dynasty Warriors with the universe of Zelda. Iwata was careful to point out that this is not the traditional The Legend of Zelda game everyone is still eagerly anticipating. That is still coming... someday.

Hyrule Warriors is set to launch sometime next year. What do you think of the concept? Let us know in the comments below.
