Tekken 7 Announced, Trailer Inside

Posted on Monday, July 14 @ 05:53:46 PST by Alex_Osborn

During Evo 2014 this weekend, Bandai Namco announced a brand-new entry in the Tekken series. Unsurprisingly, it's called Tekken 7, the debut trailer for which you can check out above.

Tekken 7 will be powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 4, allowing the studio to "rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platform and go beyond it," according to game director Katsuhiro Harada. "Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it allows us to immediately bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire."

Hey fighting game fans, are you excited for more Tekken? I can't help but think back to the good old days of playing Tekken 3 on the original PlayStation. My, how the industry has changed!
