Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Telltale Games Wants To Work On Even Bigger IPs

Posted on Friday, January 4 @ 17:11:11 Eastern by Jonathan_Leack

The Walking Dead is big, but Telltale Games wants even bigger.

Telltale Games' CEO, Dan Connors, has been overwhelmed by the success of The Walking Dead, but is enthusiastic about what the future holds for the studio. In terms of aspirations, Connors would like to translate the great storytelling of The Walking Dead over to even larger IPs. He told Redbull UK the following during an interview:

Coming from LucasArts, we always felt we could do a great Star Wars story game. We also love the idea of building out a deeper story to a great game franchise—something like Half-Life stories or Halo stories.

There are so many possibilities, and Telltale Games can do for some of the biggest franchises in television and film what Rocksteady Studios did for Batman. However, for now the studio is focused on a second season of The Walking Dead which may even incorporate saves from the previous season.

Right now we are just starting to form the concept for season two. This all remains to be seen but we are definitely figuring out how to carry the saves over.

Are there any IPs that you would like to see Telltale Games work with? Let us know in the comments below.

I would like to see Telltale do an adventure series of a game franchise. Seriously! It would be really interesting. I don't know if any publishers would agree to that, but that would be an interesting idea.

Telltale actually has a whole lot of job openings listed on their site. I'm intrigued.

I wonder if Capcom would let Telltale make PC and console titles for the Phoenix Wright series?

Telltale is one company i am fine handling great licenses since they do a great job with them. Travelers Tales and the Lego Games are another.

Star Wars could be really cool though. A Lord of the Rings/Hobbit one could be cool too.

Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, Alien, The Twilight Zone, Breaking Bad, Evil Dead, Terminator, Mission Impossible(it could be what Alpha Protocol should've been.)

As for game franchises, I doubt many companies would let Telltale get their talented paws on them, but I've thought a TWD-style spin-off of Fallout would be cool.

    Twilight zone could be entertaining.

Breaking Bad could be really good if done right.

It would be challenging to pull off a Telltale adventure based on an established FPS franchise like Halo or Half-Life where its audience expects top-notch shooting mechanics. A movie or TV property, of which many commenters have already given examples, would fit the adventure model more easily.

As far as I know, Telltale is the only name in adventure games these days.
I'd like to see them get the rights to a classic adventure game franchise and resurrect it.
Space Quest would be the best choice, those games were always very funny.
