Telltale Reportedly Developing Game of Thrones Title [Update: It's Official!][Update 2: Trailer Inside]

[Update 2] Check out the announcement trailer for the game above.

[Update 1] Telltale Games has announced tonight at VGX that it's currently developing a new adventure series set in the Game of Thrones universe. It will be based on the television series rather than the novels.

[Original] Adventure series developer Telltale Games is working on a new title set in the Game of Thrones universe, trusted sources have informed IGN.

No other details were provided, so beyond that we know nothing. The outlet reached out to Telltale Games for official confirmation, to which the studio replied, “We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment.”

So it's not confirmed just yet, but it sure would make a nice fit for Telltale's skill set. Are you excited at the prospect of a Telltale-developed Game of Thrones game? Comment below and let us know.
