Telltale Targeting Fall Release For The Walking Dead: Season Two

Posted on Thursday, March 7 @ 06:52:06 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

The next batch of episodes for Telltale's zombie adventure series is set to launch later this year.

Just a few days back, Eurogamer was told by studio co-founder and CEO Dan Connors that the team was targeting a 2014 release for The Walking Dead: Season Two, but Telltale has since clarified by releasing the following statement to Game Informer:

The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview. We apologize for any confusion and thank you and all of our fans for your continued excitement for Telltale’s series.

We here are GameRevolution were quite impressed with Season One, awarding it the Best Downloadable Game of 2012. Heck, even you guys selected it as our Community Choice Game of the Year, so clearly Telltale did something right. Let's hope they can deliver just as an emotional experience with the next season.

Will make sure to get it for PC this time.
My Xbox was laggy and messed up the experience a little bit for me, it was really choppy.

It was amazing. But the disc version (at least ps3) MUST be worked on. The amount of lag and stuttering hindered the experience to an extent.

And as long as they continue with the excellent price point I will continue to buy it. Id also like to see my choices have more drastic effects.

There was stuttering on the PC version to. Whenever a cut scene would play it would freeze for about 5-10 some times and lag through most of the cut scenes. Don't why there were so many bugs in that game.

First season was awesome but I played them back to back after grabbing it on a Steam sale. Wonder what it will be like if the eps are staggered over several weeks/months. I don't know if I'm that patient.
