Telltale's The Walking Dead: Episode One Currently Free On XBLA

Posted on Wednesday, December 26 @ 07:13:52 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Telltale Games' The Walking Dead was not only the Spike VGA's GOTY, it was also (and more importantly) selected as the best game of 2012 by the GameRevolution community. If for whatever reason you haven't played this game yet, you can try out the first episode for free on Xbox Live.

If you head over to the Xbox Live Marketplace right now, you can download Episode 1 — A New Day for free. That's right, none of those pesky Microsoft Points are required. At this point there is absolutely no excuse for anyone to pass on this game.

Telltale has already confirmed that they're making a second season, so be sure to stay tuned to GR for updates on what is next for the series.

Wife treated herself to a 360 Kinect Bundle the other day. It should arrive in the mail today. Think I'll download this as a surprise for her when she comes home from work!
