Tetris Ultimate Drops on Next-Gen Consoles, Playable at E3

Posted on Friday, June 6 @ 15:30:00 PST by

Tetris turns 30 this year! Isn't that an incredible milestone for one of gaming's most beloved brands? I'd say Tetris is the only puzzle game on the level of Mario or Sonic when you consider the general public's grasp of the medium, but we'll soon get hands-on with Tetris Ultimate for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Tetris Ultimate from Blue Planet Software and Ubisoft will allow up to four players to go head-to-head in Marathon, Endless, Ultra, Sprint, Battle, and Power-Up Battle modes later this year.

If you're heading to the Electronic Entertainment Expo this week, you can go hands-on with Tetris Ultimate at Ubisoft's Uplay Lounge in The Standard hotel. Don't forget to click the link above for more details on Tetris fan celebrations around the country.
