I think the ports as well as the COD:BO3 and AC3 are good signs for the system.

It's hard to get people to pay $300 dollars for a console to play a game that can be played on the console they already own.

Which is why consoles always sell for the exclusives. *ALWAYS*. And people will buy the WiiU for those exclusives. Hell, they already have bought the WiiU. Preorders closed in less than a week everywhere in the U.S., because so many folks want one. New Super Mario Bros U alone is going to sell millions of systems.

For good or for bad, that's the truth.

Agreed, Mario moves consoles. But I think the initial pre-orders are just Nintendo fans and the "I gotta have the new shiny" personalities. It's going to be interesting to see if this thing takes off like the Wii.

I only see 1 or 2 titles at launch worth playing at all (that I haven't already played). I thought the 90s were over.....

Oh, thanks! Better than nothing I guess, I was really hoping for the rumours of a remake to be true, but I guess N64 graphics will do.

I gotta say that launch lineup already looks better than most of the Wii's library. That first batch of reviews is gonna be mighty interesting to read.
Unfortunately, I'm betting games like Batman or Darksiders II are only gonna offer minor improvements over the other existing versions which is gonna lead most to question why get the U when they can already play those games in their current systems.

I really don't want to buy another system just to play Bayonetta 2. I'll get one in a couple years after they fix whatever bugs there are and drop the price.

Nothing that screams to me you must buy a Wii U, like Rouge Leader did back on the Gamecube. Even in the launch window there is little i care about.

Oh well, i don't buy systems at launch anymore anyway, not until they get more support.
