The Last of Us Demo Launching In May

Posted on Friday, March 8 @ 12:03:55 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Sony has been teasing gamers with early access to a demo for The Last of Us in order to incentivize the PlayStation faithful to pre-order Santa Monica Studios' upcoming blood-filled adventure, God of War: Ascension. Those who pick up Kratos' newest adventure will be able to play a section of the game before anyone else, but until now, we didn't know exactly when that would be.

Naughty Dog has provided us with a firm date on Twitter, confirming that early access to the demo for TLOU will be made available starting May 31st. Mark your calendars people, it'll be here before you know it.

The Last of Us launches on June 14th, exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

I have a love/hate relationship with DEMOS! Its great because it gives you an idea of how a game plays, feels, and if its worth picking up. At the same time...if you end up liking it...it leaves you wanting more. And in this case......I'm pretty sure I'm going to be left with "WANTING MORE!"

Would it not be awesome if PS Plus members got an exclusive demo for The Last of Us?

*Early* access to the demo 2 weeks before release? That's weird. Were I them I would want to hype the game up as much as possible...
