The Last of Us Dominates In The UK, Top Selling Game Three Weeks In A Row

Posted on Monday, July 1 @ 07:14:52 PST by Alex_Osborn

Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic survival adventure is doing incredibly well across the pond, serving as the best selling game every week since its mid-June launch.

Critics have praised the game for its incredible story, characters, and gameplay. If you haven't already done so, be sure to read our review of The Last of Us right here.

In case you were curious, here's the top ten selling games of last week in the UK:
  1. The Last of Us
  2. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition
  3. Animal Crossing: New Leaf
  4. FIFA 13
  5. The Sims 3: Island Paradise
  6. Deadpool
  7. Tomb Raider
  8. Call Of Duty: Black Ops II
  9. Assassin’s Creed III
  10. Company Of Heroes 2

Do you think The Last of Us will go on to be the 2013 Game of the Year? If not, what title do you think will beat it out? As far as I'm concerned, it's the best game I've played this entire console generation.
