The Last of Us Holding Strong As Top-Selling Game In UK For Six Weeks Running

Posted on Monday, July 22 @ 08:35:26 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

The Last of Us has done incredibly well among consumers in the UK, as the game has gone on to be the top-selling title in the region for the sixth week in a row.

While I am of the opinion that the game shouldn't have a sequel, it's hard to step away from a profitable IP, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see more of this post-apocalyptic universe on the PlayStation 4.

Here's the full top ten sales list for this past week in the UK:
  1. The Last of Us
  2. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition
  3. Mario and Luigi: Dream Team
  4. Animal Crossing: New Leaf
  5. Dynasty Warriors 8
  6. Far Cry 3
  7. Skyrim - Legendary Edition
  8. Max Payne 3
  9. FIFA 13
  10. Tomb Raider
Would you like to see Sony and Naughty Dog move forward with a sequel to The Last of Us? Let us know in the comments below.
