FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

The Last of Us Lead Artist Leaves Naughty Dog

Posted on Monday, April 21 @ 06:59:59 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Nate Wells, the lead artist on Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, has parted ways with the studio.

Wells confirmed the news on his Twitter page, indicating that he will now be working as art director at Giant Sparrow, the indie developer that created The Unfinished SwanWorlds Factory notes that his LinkedIn page still says that he is at Naughty Dog, but that's probably just because he hasn't yet updated his profile.

With the recent departures of both Amy Hennig and Justin Richmond, it's clear something strange is going on over at Naughty Dog. Could Uncharted 4's development be in trouble?
