LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

The Steam Summer Camp Sale Begins!

Posted on Thursday, June 30 @ 12:21:20 Eastern by

Ah, I love the fresh smell of the digital landscape! It's time for Steam's Summer Sale and this time it's about summer camp: fishing, hiking, flashlights, sunburns, mosquitos, getting chased by animals that can eat you, and bringing your Nintendo DS because it pisses off mom and dad. Okay, maybe I got a bit too personal there.

Anyway, the wonderful guys and gals at Steam not only have a slew of daily deals, but also a bunch of in-game activities you can perform (like Sunbathing, getting a perfect run in World 1-1 in bit.Trip Runner), which will earn you tickets that will award you free items in their Prize Booth. For 3 tickets each, you can earn yourself the likes of Goo Gear Snorkels for Portal 2 and Summer Shades for Team Fortress 2.

100 lucky winners will win the Grand Prize... the Top 10 games on their wish list for free. Better sort your wish lists now, because Christmas is coming early for some of you!

Here are the daily deals (just for today, of course):

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY $19.99 $6.80
bit.Trip Runner $9.99 $2.50
Back to the Future The Game $24.99 $12.49
Test Drive Unlimited 2 $19.99 $9.99
Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale $19.99 $5.00
The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings $49.99 $33.49
Operation Flashpoint: Red River $44.99 $29.24
Lead and Gold $9.99 $1.50
Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition $39.99 $13.59
Borderlands GOTY $29.99 $7.50
Medal of Honor $29.99 $10.19
Dawn of War II: Retribution $29.99 $14.99

Steam seams to be freaking out right now, but believe me, I'll at least be getting the Valve complete pack.
