The Voices Behind Star Wars: The Old Republic's Companions

By the time I hit level 25 in Star Wars: The Old Republic, I already had watched enough cutscenes to fill more than two full-length feature films. That might sound disheartening, but the story aspect of The Old Republic is its greatest asset, and its delivery is backed by an entire army of voice actors and actresses. A large portion of the cast has been in the industry for a number of years, and furthermore you might have heard a few voices while playing which sound extremely familiar. With people like David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake and Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid, and Jennifer Hale, the voice behind lovely Female Shephard in the Mass Effect series, it's no wonder the story delivery is strong.

What about the companions, though? You've spent hours trying to charm your companion, and you might be wondering who's behind the voice. For that, Nandemoii from Star Wars: The Old Republic's Wall of Light server has organized a collage of actors and actresses behind every companion in the game. Enjoy.

    Troy Baker is the voice behind Kanji Tatsuni from Persona 4 and Vincent from Catherine,

    Tara Strong is a very rolific voice actor, she was the voice of Rikku in FF X and Sheegor in Psychonauts.

    Georgia Van Cuylenbrug was in FF XIII as Vanille, and Daran Norris is a VO from the original KOTOR games, although he did additional voices in those I believe.

    Johnny Young Bosch is the Black Ranger.

    Adam Leadbeater is the voice of Justice from Dragon Age: Awakening, and the older voice of Chester Cheetah

    and Steve Blum has been in most Bioware games recently...the voice of Oghren and Grunt, as well as the voice of Jack Cayman from Madworld.

    Good talent, I must say.

    Johnny Young Bosch is also the voice actor who brought us the English dubs of Ichigo Kurosaki, Nero (DMC4) and Zero (MvC3: FTW, UMvC3)

    All I know is that the voice of the Bounty Hunter is the same guy who does Spike from Cowboy Bebop and he is probably my favorite voice actor ever. (and yet I still don't know his name...lol)
