The Witcher 3 Gets Release Date, Pre-E3 Trailer

Posted on Thursday, June 5 @ 15:00:00 PST by Alex_Osborn

In the buildup to next week's annual gaming expo in Los Angeles, developer CD Projekt RED has lifted the veil on a brand-new trailer for its upcoming action-RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which now has an official release date of February 24, 2015.

The game was originally supposed to be out this fall, but has since been delayed in order to afford the studio enough time to deliver the best experience possible. If you've played either of the prior entires in the series, you're well aware of the fact that CD Projekt RED has a high bar when it comes to quality, so expect big things from this gorgeous role-playing game when it arrives next year.

We're sure to hear more about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next week at E3, so stay tuned to GameRevolution in the coming days for more info. In the meantime, you've got the trailer above to drool over and the comments below to spew words of excitement.
