LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Confirmed For PS4

Posted on Thursday, February 21 @ 07:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Developer CD Projekt Red has just announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be launching on the PlayStation 4 at some point next year.

We already knew it was coming to PC, but now PlayStation gamers can rest assured that they won't miss out on the fun as well. CD Projekt Red's Adam Badowski had the following to say about the game's release:

The Witcher 3  will be released in 2014 simultaneously on all high-end platforms available.  We know that our fans are looking forward to that date already, but we want to make it clear that this story is a standalone, and we will be sure introduce newcomers fully to the world so that they don't miss a beat.

Expect to hear that The Witcher 3 will be coming to Microsoft's new console as well, once the Big M finally decides to acknowledge the fact that it exists. Are you happy to see the series make the full jump to consoles after The Witcher 2 was ported to the Xbox 360? Let us know in the comments below.

Standalone story? Hopefully they at least reference the outcome of second game events with *some* depth.

I have a feeling it'll be like the Witcher 2 was to the Witcher 1. A bunch of little things, but no major bearing on the game itself.
