This Is What the New PSP Looks Like

Posted on Thursday, August 18 @ 09:32:10 Eastern by
In a shocking turn of events, Sony announced a new PSP model at their gamescom presser, despite the Vita being the new handheld on the block. The new value-priced PSP is currently only planned for Europe, but we can't imagine why it wouldn't be released in other territories. This new model is value-priced, because some features were cut. Namely the built-in Wi-Fi. Aside from that glaring omission, it actually looks pretty damn cool. Check it out.

Sad thing is, I have more interest in getting a Sony Ericsson phone and getting games off that than I have in yet another PSP or the Vita. Let's hope those vague rumors of it getting PSN support eventually turn out to be true.
