LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

THQ President Donates Over $1000 To Charity Via THQ Humble Bundle

Posted on Friday, November 30 @ 12:01:02 Eastern by Keri_Honea

Humble Bundle announced a new Humble Bundle for purchase yesterday, consisting solely of THQ games for Steam. In just two days, the THQ Bundle has raised nearly $2.5 million. Five top contributors have all donated the same amount: $1,050. That in of itself is quite impressive, but what's even more impressive is that one of these donors is the president of THQ, Jason Rubin.

Mr. Rubin's contributions, however, were donated 100% to charity. Afterall, would he really need to buy the games himself, even if his company is in financial trouble?

Of course, Rubin isn't encouraging other donors to do the same. THQ could use the money, remember.

Have you bought the THQ Humble Bundle? It includes Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon, Company of Heroes, and two Company of Heroes expansions. Those who donate more than the average contribution will also receive Saints Row The Third. You have 12 days left to buy these games for a super low price and donate to charity.

I'm not really interested in Company of Heroes, but all the other games catch my eye, namely Saints Row The Third. I may give CoH a try... not sure.

Bought the bundle yesterday. The average then was $5.23, so I put in $5.50. Even without CoH, it's a hell of a deal.

I already owned both Darksiders and Saints Row the Third, but I tossed them ten bucks for it. I gave the Bundle guys a dollar and then split the money rest of the money evenly between the charities and THQ. Even at ten dollars, the games I don't already have are a steal.

I got the bundle, and I paid above average. Just not a LOT above average. I really didn't want any of the games, but I figured I would help charity and get a few extra games to look at on my new PC.

If you only knew the power of the Dark Side. Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father.
