Titanfall, Transistor, Oculus Rift, And Watch Dogs Take Game Critics Best Of E3 Awards

Posted on Tuesday, July 2 @ 11:10:00 Eastern by

This year's Game Critics Awards have been awarded and E3 2013's biggest winner is most definitely Titanfall with six awards including Best of Show and Best Original Game.

You're probably wondering how the hell that happened, and I wouldn't blame you, notably because I didn't get a chance to go hands-on with the game (though Game Critics judges did a few weeks ahead of the conference). Still, Titanfall's brand of mech-vs-man gameplay looks awesome and (so long as it's balanced) really adds another dimension to the online-shooter craze in gaming.

Titanfall is joined by Oculus Rift (for Best Hardware/Peripheral), Watch Dogs (for Best Action/Adventure Game), and The Elder Scrolls Online (for Best Role Playing Game). You want the complete list? You can't handle the list! Just kidding, here it is:

Best of Show - Titanfall - (Respawn/EA for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Best Original Game - Titanfall - (Respawn/EA for PC, XBox 360, Xbox One)

Best Console Game - Titanfall - (Respawn/EA for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Best Handheld/Mobile Game - Tearaway - (Media Molecule/SCEA for PSVita)
