Titanfall Won’t Have Microtransactions

Posted on Friday, January 24 @ 08:26:59 PST by Alex_Osborn
Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that its upcoming multiplayer-centric first-person shooter Titanfall will not include microtransactions.

Speaking to a fan on Twitter, the studio assuaged gamers' fears, while at the same time skirting around the question as to whether or not the game will feature a season pass.

Electronic Arts has been shoehorning microtransactions into its games as of late, so it's nice to know that Titanfall isn't falling victim to the publisher's money-making policies.

Are you planning on picking up Respawn's debut title when it launches in March for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC? If so, which platform are you getting it for?
