Nintendo has announced that Toon Link—you know, the cutesy cartoon version of Zelda's knight elf in shining armor a green tunic—will be among the roster of playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS.

The news was revealed on the game's official site, which includes a few images of the hero of Hyrule in action. Here he is on Wii U.
