LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Torchlight II Surpasses One Million In Sales

Posted on Wednesday, January 2 @ 16:53:11 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Despite facing fierce competition from Diablo III, Runic Games' Torchlight II has sold quite a few copies.

The developer behind this fun-filled loot fest announced via Twitter that the game has sold over one million units since its launch in September. We here at GameRevolution were quite impressed with Runic's latest effort, and with a price tag of just $15, it's hard not to recommend it on pure value alone.

Torchlight II is currently only available on PC, but seeing as how its predecessor eventually was ported to Xbox Live, there's hope that it will make its way to consoles sometime in the future.

I would absolutely pay for this on Xbox 360 and I would force all my friends to get a copy too.

I can't imagine them not doing this. It would certainly be a great way to reach a wider audience.

Picked this up last week during the Steam sale for $10. Enjoying this much more than the multi-million dollar Diablo III. I bet Blizzard is kicking themselves over that. Excellent game, and you don't even need a high-powered PC to run it. Even a crappy little netbook will.

Diablo 3 probably helped the sells for this game.
