Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Coming in 2012

Posted on Thursday, October 6 @ 13:53:58 Eastern by

The next cover of GameInformer arrived on the internet today bringing with it robots in disguise as dinosaus.

...

What the f***? A dinosaur? Before you mentally reject this fabrication of unbelievable cross-overs, know that Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a follow up to Transformers: War for Cybertron from the same developers, High Moon Studios.

The title and concept art made the cover of the biggest print mag in the gaming industry. The cover features Optimus Prime and Grimlock as a dinosaur. Keep your browser locked to GameRevolution as we'll bring each and every detail as Activision and GI drip-feed it to the internet like a gerbil's water bottle.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is currently slated to land on Xbox 360 and PS3 in Fall 2012.

That's what I've heard but I haven't had the time to play it myself.

Maybe this game will finally answer the age old question: Why would Grimlock ever transform into his robot form when he has a Tyrannosaurus Rex form?
(I realize that he's a robot in either form, but that's how the forms were named back in the day)
