Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark Announced

Posted on Monday, February 17 @ 08:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Activision has a new Transformers game in the works and it's called Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. Check out the announcement trailer above.

It appears Activision is trying to tie in the upcoming Michael Bay movie with this new title, which will undoubtedly be a concern to some.

According to the video description, Rise of the Dark Spark will allow you to "explore two unique worlds as your favorite Transformers characters from both the movie, Transformers: Age of Extinction, and Cybertron universes in a battle to secure an ancient and powerful relic, the Dark Spark!" That sounds... interesting.

The game will be coming to PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, and PC sometime in 2014.
